BYAD brought us Umbral Horror new support, and with them a whole new world opened for Number focused Extra Decks. This article brings some of the best and maybe some silver bullets for many situations you might find during your duels in our Ranked.
Utopia Double got his shinning days when used to OTK opponents in a far far far away era, but right now, we can set a very good field with his friend: Number 99: Utopia Dragonar! Utopia Double effect reads:
(Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card; add 1 "Double or Nothing!" from your Deck to your hand, then Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Utopia" Xyz Monster, except "Number 39: Utopia Double", by using this face-up card you control as material, and if you do, its ATK becomes doubled, but it cannot attack directly. (This is treated as an Xyz Summon. Transfer its materials to the Summoned monster.) You can only use this effect of "Number 39: Utopia Double" once per turn.
So you can Summon Number 99: Utopia Dragonar, that can immediately activate it's effect to summon any Number monster from 1 to 100, including Number C! Even if they come without materials, you can use Barian's Hope to attach any Number into it (what makes Number C even strongers!).
Here some Numbers you might want to read before adding to your deck:
Number 2: Ninja Shadow MosquitoZeus material
Number 22: ZombiesteinNegate any face-up card
Number 23: Lancelot, Dark Knight of the UnderworldOmni-negate
Number 24: Dragulas the Vampiric DragonFlip down threats
Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic GalaxySpell negate
Number 69: Heraldry CrestCombo-pieceAh, and talking about the double elephant in the room, yes, it can come in your hand, i our draws and in the worst moment ever, but it still can be food to the field effect to search any starter/extender too, or even to summon Number C32: Shark Drake LeVeiss.
This Utopia should be in your basic package. In case you don't know, the search effect from our favorite Xyz Number 104: Masquerade V is not once per turn but once per copy. So, if you happen to summon another Masquerade V with materials, you can activate it again to search one more card. After comboing and sending a 104 to GY, if 2 level 4 are on the field, you can Summon Utopia Rising, bring Masquerade V back from the GY and attach both materials into it and search another combo piuece or even our counter (that is also combo piece! OMG! #nonstop)
You need to be using at least one of these 2 rank-ups: Rank-Up-Magic Limited Barian's Force and Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force. The first one only works on Rank 4 Xyz (what is not a problem in our deck).
